Christian Werner, born 1959 in West Berlin, is a German industrial designer. In addition to his spatial concepts, he has been specialised above all on creating and developing furniture over the last twenty-five years. His work is found in products by numerous prestigious European manufacturers, including Ligne Roset, De Sede, Duravit, Thonet and Leolux. Moreover, he has also completed a variety of interior design projects.

He possesses a characteristically clear signature. Christian Werner's design vocabulary is reduced; he seeks tension in simple things, while eschewing short-lived trends. His creations always focus on the people he wants to reach, as he perceives design as an expression of emotion and sensuality through forms and materials.
