roecknergrewe is a communication and public relations agency focusing on design, architecture and outdoor living. Founded in 2016 by communication experts Julia Roeckner and Anja Grewe, the agency has offices in Hamburg and Düsseldorf.
We combine the entrepreneurial and media perspectives of communication in our competencies and have an excellent international network. In this way, we can develop holistic concepts for brands that harmonize the needs of a company with those of the media and customers. Thus we enable our customers to achieve long-term communicative and entrepreneurial success.
Julia Roeckner
Already during her studies of German and English literature as well as applied cultural studies, she worked independently in the field of PR and has more than 20 years of professional experience.
She discovered her love for furniture and interior design at an early age and found her calling as Head of Communications at the outdoor manufacturer DEDON. Here she built up the company's PR department and managed international press relations for almost eight years.
Spectacular campaigns with star photographer Bruce Weber, the opening of the company's own hotel and many other international B2B and B2C projects opened her up early on the communicative approach of storytelling, which has accompanied her ever since. Her worldwide network spans three continents and includes all relevant journalists from the design, architecture and lifestyle press as well as decision-makers from the fields of architecture, design and trade. She is passionate about developing bespoke stories.
Anja Grewe
The two academic degrees in Germany and the USA already focused on communication and media. With Condé Nast, she worked for about ten years in one of the world's best-known publishing houses. She has successfully marketed titles such as VOGUE, Glamour, GQ, Wired and AD Architectural Digest. In her last three years she held a leading position as advertising director of GQ, GQ Style, Wired and AD Architectural Digest. Her particular interest has always been in furniture design, art and architecture.
Working with many small and large premium and luxury brands, she has a keen understanding of their challenges and opportunities. She has a profound knowledge of the work and mechanisms of the media and knows how to combine them with the business perspective, resulting in good stories and emotional experiences.
Our team is complemented by permanent and freelance employees. Depending on requirements, we work together with creative people from different disciplines and make use of our extensive network. No matter what, we have the right people at hand.
